The Wolf Gaurds Duty is to protect the citizens of Metropolis, Defend the city and Enforce 4 of its laws(Making sure weapons are sheathed, Dispell enchantments is possible, Stop violent action and no Loose animals except for the pack animals)

The Wolf Gaurd warn Citizens of dangerous areas such as war zones and areas taken by murders or brigands. If not able to deal with the situation round up those willing and able to deal with it.

The wolf gaurd also hunt down Killers and criminals and assist citizens on missions

The Wolf train to maximize their efficiency as a group. Team work is important.

Training days for all members will be set to practice their duelling or team vs team training as well as exchanging ideas for combat and situations.

The Wolf Gaurd is accepting people from all areas and Factions and moral inclination.
(This may be changed.)

Firstly, the wolf gaurd has some strict rules.

1. You must Salute all higher ranking officers and refer to them as "Sir" or "Ma'am"

2. All wolf gaurd wear uniforms. All platemails are the same as all other platemails, All Fullplates are the same as all other fullplates.

3.Undisciplinary conduct may result in you being kicked out of the Wolf gaurd.

Secondly Alot of emphasis is placed in teamwork in the gaurd.
It is because of this we expect wolf gaurd to assist and act as leaders with non-wolf gaurd memebers. (This does not mean you will be the leader of a group, simply you will be responsible)

To avoid infighting and possible problems, discuss treasure division with the party. (I have seen a few to many ooc problems regarding treasure of late)
My suggestion is quite commanly know throughout Termes and is usually the standard.
Those who need the quest Items take them. The then the rest of the party rolls a d100 to determins who gets first pick of the treasure. The ones who got the quest item go last (but still roll because there might be extra treasure, and if there were 2 people who got the quest item, they have to determine in what order they get to choose)
If the entire party needs the quest items, then the Entire party rolls a D100 and begin picking items one by one. Most likely the highest will pick the quest item, the 2nd highest will pick the 2nd quest item and the 3rd will pick one peice of the treasure, followed by the 4th, and then back to the 1st.
Gold peices are usually divided equilly.
It is also suggested the person with the most keen eyes(Highest "search" score)examine the treasure first.

Wolf gaurd Protocol:

This is for all wolf gaurd members.

When you apporach a Higher ranking officer refer to them as "Sir!" or "Ma'am!" and salute right away.

Occasionally there will be inspection of all men.
You are to line up immediatly. When the superior officer comes for inspection or for what ever reason, the highest ranking member will give the command to all lined up to "salute". While lined up you do not talk or move and only leave when dismissed. If you wish to ask a question. Yell "Sir".

Insubordination will not be tolerated in the ranks and you may be removed from the gaurd for it.

(OOC) Ok guys I realize this is RP, but the wolf gaurd is a strict disciplined unit. In the same way the drow will not tolerate another drow being insulted rp wise, neither will the gaurd tolerate insubordination. Kage will yell at you for it. On missions and when not lined up hes relaxed. but when he has to get serious he gets serious. Its one of the reasons I always ask people when they join "Can you obey orders". The uniform is part of the gaurd aswell and before anyone joins I also tell them that we have a uniform, incase they dont want to change there armour and such.

Roughly this is what I had. You'll have to ask the Captain though.

From what I have learned of the Wolf guard.
The wolf guard are more tolerant of those breaking the law, giving them more of a chance and lenience to deal with matters. They may give the person a warning then whip them and give more warnings afterwards.
They help other citizens in what ever fashion they can. This acts as as strength for the Wolf Guard, because they are seen favorably by the other people in this aspect. They become the "Likeable" Villains, which allows them to do their more nefarious work more easier.

A wolf guard who is in trouble may end up asking the dwarves for assitance against a common foe, odds are they will most likely get that assistance aswell.

As for the hunting aspect. I cannot say. Any Wolf Guard, please, input protocol for hunting criminals.

I'll give it a try..

Protocol for hunting criminals

1)The defination of criminals
I.Those who are on the wanted list of the Wolf Guard.
II.Those who are disobeying the Metropolis Law on its ground.
III.Those who are interfering the duty of a Metropolis Military member (including teasing and humiliating).

I. are defined as felons.
II. are defined as outlaws.
III. are defined as rudesbies.

2)Protocol for felons
Respond on site.
If outnumbered or overpowered, a Wolf Guard should immediately leave the scene and report to his commander. When more than one Wolf Guard is involved, it is recommended that the one sklled in stealth stay and keep a close eye on the felons.
Otherwise, a Wolf Guard should immediately arrest the felon. Any resistance should be eliminated.

3)Protocol for outlaws
Respond on site only if it will not incumber the process of Protocols for felons.
An oral warning is necessary. If rejected or not accepted,
whipping is necessary for an advanced warning. If being threatened by force, a Wolf Guard should treat the subject as felons, see Protocols for felons.

4)Protocol for rudesbies
Respond on site only if it will not incumber the process of Protocols for felons or Protocols for outlaws.
An oral warning is necessary. If being threatened by force, a Wolf Guard should treat the subject as outlaws, see Protocols for outlaws.

/* That's it...apologize for my English cause I am not a native speaker. I still have no idea what to do after arresting a felon, eager to learn more. By the way, why don't we discuss some interesting duties for Wolf Guards?
*/

As note, the wolf guard should be the Likeable guards. This way you gain favortism from other people.

As wolf guard. Do favors for people. Lots of small favors. And make it known. This doesnt mean you have to yell out "IM GIVING YOU A HEAL KIT" but should some one you have helped start to berate you, remind them how you helped. Make them look good, offer your services.
Do what you can to help.
After talking to Sil, he told me of how he actually managed to get a Paladin to join the Metropolis once.
Do the things no one is willing to do. Help them with things that they arn't willing to do.
Prove to people your worth, and no matter how evil you seem, people will respond to you in a positive light.

Ok Nice an simple. Your duties as wolf guard.

-Enforce the Laws
Make sure people obey the laws. As a wolf guard. Give them plenty of warning.

-Hunting down criminals.
You have a list. Use it. but please respect the other persons RP and this is not OOC. You have the rare chance to even help good guys here.

-Help citizens of the city.
This can mean missions, quests, directing them. Help new slaves to the Mark of the dictator, Dont ignore them please. Kindly ask citizens to obey.

-warning citizens
Warn citizens of threats and war zones. Keep them safe.
After all, any of them could end up joining.

-Defend the Metropolis.
This means coming to the aid of the city. Lets not be fool hardy though. If a threat is to much for you, back away. Call for assitance.

Role Playing Wolf Guard

This is a rough note I'll clarify after:

Here is information for playing Wolf Gaurd.
Wolf Gaurd are definatly not the most openly vicious or evil of the gaurd. That doesn't mean you can't play this way, but it will actually be counter productive to what wolf gaurds accomplish.

The most important thing to the Wolf Gaurd is "loyalty".
A wolf Gaurds Loyalty should be unconditional.
Yes you may be evil; you may be vicious; you may be deceptive, but not matter what you are always loyal.
What ever you do, you do for the metropolis and the dictator.

On of the hardest parts of playing a gaurd is that everyone hates you. All the other factions will have occasional spats, but the Metropolis is always the "big bad" and everyone will hate you, even if you havn't done anything. So heres what you do:

-Be the person whos willing to do things for people, that their not willing to do. When their code of honor gets in the way, your the one there backstabbing the enemy who got away.
-Be the one who makes them look good. In a situation where they might be in danger of looking bad, help them to look good.
-Be the one who bribes people to get them past gaurds.
-Be the one to warn people when they might be sticking their foot in their mouth.
-Be the one to inform people that the person they are fighting preffers a certain kind of spell.

Do all sorts of small favors for people no matter who they are. Do them even if no one asks for them. Show people that you are willing to Lie, cheat, steal, all for thier benefit.
In battle, use your intimidate or Bluff skill to help your allies defeat enemies easier.

Dont talk about your worth, Show it.

Do thinkgs like this and you'll find that even the enemies respect you and you will begin to find people tell you their secrets. You will have earned their trust.

Heres the catch. Whoever your loyal to; never betray their trust. They are the most important thing to you.

*making your self look good
Always justify your actions with some purpose. Think if things that makes people upset
Lets take whipping for example.
You go up to a person. You warn them to put their weapon away. They dont listen to you. You have no choice but to whip them now. Is it your fault? No. They didn't listen. and you even warned them.
The person begins to get irate. Simply tell them the following. "These are laws of our land. Why do you insult us by breaking our laws. If we were in your lands we would respect your laws. We are here to maintain the law and protect the citizens. We are not a chaotic state."

What are they supposed to say to that?
You have stated your purpose, you have stated why you do it and you have justified it. Who looks more like the villain now. You or him?
Be forceful. But you dont overstep and be aggressive and insulting.

Every situation, has pros ans cons. The wolfguard should look at both.
Spend little time on the plan. Spend ALOT of time on the back plan, because things can always go wrong.
Plan like this and you will always win.
